Rude. I know.
But it could be worse.
Netflix is testing out something they call “video promotions” for their Netflix Original series. The video promotions – or commercials, as many users call them – run between consecutive episodes of whatever series you’re binging.
Even though previews have been proven to decrease the amount of time you take to select your next show or movie (meaning more watching time for you), customers are still unhappy about the prospect of helplessly having to sit through these video promotions.
Before you take drastic measures and hit the unsubscribe button, here’s how Netflix hopes to use its previews as a way of keeping you hooked.
